Students who choose to live at the Corner House come from all walks of life:
women, men, and nonbinary people;
Milwaukee natives, out-of-staters, and international students;
gay, straight, bisexual, and queer;
introverts and extroverts;
neurodivergent and neurotypical;
and everything in between!
With all their differences, our residents share two things in common: involvement with Lutheran Campus Ministry, and a commitment to a shared way of life.
Our student living community isn't your typical dorm or apartment - it's an intentional community. Residents agree to live by a shared set of values, share chores and housework equally, and treat each other with respect, patience, and love.
The application process includes an application form, in-person interviews with the pastor and current house residents, and prayerful consideration of our living community covenant. There is no application fee.
Eligible students must:
Be enrolled and taking classes at a college or university in the Milwaukee area
Be actively involved with LCM as a student for at least one semester before applying
Members of LCM's student ministry team receive priority consideration for housing placement. We accept applications as vacancies become available.
The application for the 2026-2027 academic year is now closed.
