Hi! My name is Julia and I am a sophomore in the Nursing Program at UWM! I came to Corner House at the start of my freshman year. I joined Corner House because I was looking for a place to worship near UWM. Corner House is a place full of inclusive, compassionate, and welcoming people.

Howdy! I’m Fritz and I’m a senior studying architecture at UWM. I’ve been going through a religious journey these last few years and Corner House has been a beacon of clarity on finding myself and what I believe in. They’ve provided me with a beautiful community and open arms, so now it’s my turn to do that for those who are where I once was.

Hi, my name is Sabrina, and I am a senior at UWM! I was introduced to Corner House by a friend, and I was drawn to the welcoming community. While my own spiritual path remains open and evolving, I am constantly learning and growing through this community.

Hello! Thank you so much for visiting our campus ministry page. My name is Kamila Gutierrez, I am a junior at UWM and joined Corner House when I transferred to Milwaukee as a sophomore. I have been a part of Christian faith communities my entire life, and was looking to find an inclusive, welcoming environment that would allow me to continue to ask important questions about how my belief in God can contribute to a positive change in the oftentimes close-minded world we find ourselves in. Corner House proved to be that exact place. I'm so grateful to have found such an awesome community of young adults with whom to continue my faith journey with!

Hello loves! I am currently a junior in JAMS at UWM, focusing on advertising and a specialization in American Sign Language. I am an author, artist, and creative director currently serving as the DREAMER’s Assistant for the First-Generation+ Resource Center and as the social media Instagram representative for the Corner House. Corner House has a special place in my heart, having given me the support, celebration, and love to believe in myself and achieve both my academic and personal goals.

Good morning, afternoon, and night. My name is Kate and I’m a senior at UWM majoring in film. I am grateful to The Corner House for letting me into this incredible community. In the time I’ve been here, I’ve had the chance to observe some of the most talented, kind, and compassionate people in my college years. I’m a senior in the architecture program here at UW-Milwaukee.  I came to the Corner House when I was a freshman and I am glad I have been able to call this place home.  I have met so many people from a variety of different backgrounds and some of my closest friends have come from this community, all coming together with a common interest in the Christian faith.

Hello! My name is Jess and I’m a sophomore pre-law student at UWM. I was brought to Corner House as a plus one and found such a warm, lovely atmosphere. Since then, I’ve really enjoyed being a part of the faith community and look forward to being a peer minister this year!
